This policy explains what this website stores on your device, and why. It covers gflaser.co.uk only.
The short version
This site does not sell advertising, does not run third party advertising trackers, and does not build a profile of you. The cookies it does set fall into two groups, and only the first group is set without asking you.
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They do not store anything that identifies you personally.
- Session and security. Set when you submit an enquiry or upload a drawing, so the form can be processed and protected against abuse. Cleared when you close your browser.
- Your cookie choice. Remembers whether you accepted or declined the optional cookies below, so you are not asked on every page. Kept for 12 months.
Analytics, only if you agree
If you accept, we use analytics to count visits and see which pages people read, so we know which parts of the site are useful. It tells us that a page was visited, roughly where from and on what kind of device. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not combine it with anything else.
Decline and no analytics cookie is set at all. The site works exactly the same either way.
Files you upload
Drawings you send through the quote form are not held in a cookie. They are stored on our systems so we can price the work, kept only as long as we need them for that and for any resulting order, and are never shared outside GF Laser without your say so.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time from the cookie link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, under Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop the enquiry form working.
